"Chad Heeter State Farm has been an absolute headache to deal with over refund checks after I canceled my policy in mid-February.

My refund was initially sent to the wrong address—not the insured address and not the one where I’ve consistently received all my policy documents. No one has been able to explain how that even happened. After I flagged it, the checks were supposedly canceled and reissued… yet here I am 3–4 weeks later with still nothing.

The most frustrating part is the complete lack of accountability. When you call the local office, they basically shrug and say they’re “not really State Farm” and can’t help with billing or refunds. So you get the branding and sales support upfront, but when there’s an actual problem, suddenly no one owns it."
